QRArchive

Terms of service

Last updated 6 October 2026

The rules for using QRArchive, written to be read. Please take a few minutes to go through them.

The short version

  • Your content is yours. We only use it to run the service for you.
  • Dynamic QR codes work through our servers, so they stop working if they are paused, deleted, or your account is closed.
  • Codes you have already made keep working if you downgrade.
  • Don’t use QR codes to deceive, harm or spam people. We check destinations and act on abuse.
  • Paid plans renew automatically. Cancel any time and keep your features until the period ends.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1.About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Spendjot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16431337, whose registered office is at 86-90 Paul Street EC2A 4NE, London, England (“QRArchive”, “we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use our website, dashboard, QR codes, landing pages, API or any other part of the service.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our refund policy. If you use QRArchive for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organisation.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to create an account.

2.Your account

Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so:

  • use a strong password that you don’t use anywhere else, or sign in with Google;
  • don’t share your login. Invite teammates to your workspace instead, so each person has their own account;
  • tell us straight away at support@spendjot.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3.Workspaces and teams

QR codes, landing pages, analytics and billing belong to a workspace. The workspace owner controls the subscription, who can join and what each member can do. Owners are responsible for the members they invite and for the content those members create.

If you are invited into someone else’s workspace, the owner decides what happens to the content you create there, including after you leave.

4.How your QR codes work

Dynamic QR codes contain a short link on our domain. When someone scans one, our servers send them to the destination you have chosen. That is what lets you change the destination after printing, and it also means a dynamic code only works while it is active in a QRArchive workspace.

A dynamic code stops sending people to your destination if:

  • you pause, schedule an end date for, or delete it;
  • you delete your workspace or account;
  • we disable it under the acceptable use rules below.

In these cases visitors see a short notice page instead. We can’t change what is printed, so please keep your account in good standing for as long as your codes are in use.

Static QR codes contain their content directly (for example Wi-Fi details or a contact card). They keep working without our servers, but they can’t be edited or tracked.

5.Plans, limits and downgrades

Each plan has limits, such as the number of dynamic QR codes, workspaces and team members, and the period analytics are kept. They are shown on our pricing page.

If you downgrade, or a paid subscription ends:

  • QR codes you have already created keep working;
  • features your new plan doesn’t include (such as advanced routing rules or API access) stop working, but your settings are kept in case you upgrade again;
  • if you have more codes than your new plan allows, you can’t create or restore codes until you are back under the limit;
  • analytics older than your new plan’s retention period are deleted after a 30-day grace period.

We may change plans and features over time. If a change reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and it will apply from your next renewal.

6.Payments and renewal

Payments are handled by Stripe. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added where the law requires.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, then your workspace moves to the Free plan.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and we will let you know. Your paid features stay on for 7 days while you update your card. After that your workspace moves to the Free plan until payment succeeds.

We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase, and it will apply from your next renewal after that notice, so you can cancel first if you prefer. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

7.Acceptable use

People trust a QR code without seeing where it leads. Protecting that trust matters more to us than any single customer, so you must not use QRArchive to:

  • link to phishing, malware, scams or anything designed to trick people or steal their details;
  • impersonate another person, brand or organisation, or hide who is really behind a code;
  • link to or host content that is illegal where it is published, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
  • harass, threaten or incite violence or hatred against anyone;
  • infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • send spam or bulk messages people didn’t ask for;
  • collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or government ID details) without a lawful basis and clear notice;
  • filter out or suppress negative reviews, or offer incentives for positive ones, against the rules of review platforms or consumer law;
  • get around plan limits, rate limits or our security, scrape the service, or try to access other customers’ data;
  • overload, disrupt or attack the service or the people who use it.

8.Our checks and enforcement

We check destinations automatically, including against Google Safe Browsing, and review reports from the public. Anyone can report a code at www.qrarchive.com/report.

If we believe a code, page or workspace breaks these terms or puts people at risk, we may block the destination, disable the code or page, or suspend the workspace. When we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may act first and explain afterwards when there is an immediate risk to people scanning, or when the law requires it.

If you think we made a mistake, email support@spendjot.app and a person will review it.

9.Your content and your customers’ data

You own the content you create, such as destinations, designs, logos, landing pages and uploaded files. You give us permission to host, store, copy, display and process it only as needed to run, secure and improve the service for you. This permission ends when you delete the content, apart from copies in backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis.

You are responsible for your content and destinations, and for having the rights to use them. If your landing pages collect enquiries, you control that data and must handle it lawfully. That includes telling people how you will use their details. We process it on your behalf as described in our privacy policy.

10.API and webhooks

On plans that include it, you can use our API and webhooks. Keep your API keys secret, because anyone with a key can act on your workspace within that key’s permissions. You must also respect the rate limits. We may revoke keys that are leaked or abused, and we may change the API with reasonable notice, except where a change is needed urgently for security.

11.Our software and brand

The service, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as part of the service, and you may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them except where the law allows. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

12.Availability and changes

QR redirects are built to keep working even when other parts of the service are busy, and we work hard to keep everything running. Even so, no online service is available all the time. We may need maintenance windows, and problems with third parties outside our control can cause interruptions.

We keep improving QRArchive and may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice before removing anything you rely on in a paid plan.

13.Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it permanently removes the workspaces you own, along with their QR codes, landing pages and analytics. Your dynamic codes will stop working, so export anything you need first.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, that hasn’t paid after the grace period and follow-up, or where the law requires us to. Unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data.

14.Disclaimers

Except for the promises we make in these terms, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”. We don’t promise that it will meet every need, work without interruption or be free of errors. If you are a consumer, you may have legal rights that can’t be excluded, and nothing in these terms affects them.

15.Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, to the extent the law allows:

  • neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data that are not a direct result of a breach;
  • our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period or US$100.

16.Responsibility for claims

If you use QRArchive for business, you agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your destinations, or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you help decide how it is handled.

17.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service and the law change. For material changes, we will email workspace owners or show a notice in the dashboard at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

18.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings there.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@spendjot.app. Most problems can be solved quickly that way.

19.General

  • These terms, together with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
  • If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up.
  • You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.
  • Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
